Understanding OCD
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is often misunderstood—and for many, it can feel overwhelming, isolating, and exhausting. OCD is not just about cleanliness or order; it’s a deeply personal struggle with unwanted, intrusive thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors or mental acts (compulsions) that are performed in an attempt to reduce anxiety or prevent something bad from happening.

People living with OCD often know their fears don’t make logical sense, but the urgency and distress feel undeniably real. This tug-of-war can interfere with daily life, relationships, and emotional well-being and feel never-ending.

But here's the good news: there is help. You don’t have to be stuck in this loop. And change is possible.

How I Help
In my practice, I specialize in helping people learn how to relate to OCD in a new, more empowering way—through two highly effective approaches: Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
ERP is a gold-standard, evidence-based treatment for OCD. Together, we gently and gradually face the thoughts, images, or situations that trigger your anxiety—without engaging in the usual compulsive response. Over time, this helps your nervous system learn that you are safe, even when uncertainty is present. It’s not about fighting OCD—it’s about changing your relationship with fear.
ERP is not easy, but it is deeply transformative. And you won’t be alone—I’ll be with you every step of the way, guiding and supporting you with compassion and care.
Clinical Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy offers a powerful way to access the subconscious mind, calm the body, and shift stuck patterns and unhelpful beliefs. For clients with OCD, it can help soothe anxiety, deepen inner safety, and create new mental associations that support the work we do in ERP. It’s not about losing control—it’s about reconnecting with your inner calm and clarity.
Living Differently with OCD
Healing from OCD doesn’t mean never having intrusive thoughts again. It means learning to live with uncertainty and discomfort in a way that no longer defines or limits you. It means reclaiming your time, energy, and joy.

You can learn to live differently—with more freedom, peace, and presence. Together, we’ll build a path forward that honors your courage and meets you where you are.
